______________________________________________________________________ Hello All, I’m looking fo some help, so here it goes. I have a York E4FH060 Heat Pump. I have had it for about 7 years. I also have a inside York themostat. The inside themostat, has and error ligth that is flashing. It flashes 7 times and them it stop, 7 times and them it stops. This goes on all day long. I looked in the Service Documentation, under trouble shooting, there is a chat that talkes about the flashing of the themostat. For 7 flashes, it said the outdoor temperature sensor failed. Can someone tell me how to change the outside themostat? Part number? Or anything else I might need to know about this problem. Any help would be great !!!! Also please let me know if you need anymore information to help you out.” I know I forgot something” Thanks in advance Ed [this message was edited by edwalden on Wed 13 Oct 15:01] Replies: xenos Webmaster “Re(1):York Heat Pump Outside Thermostat” , posted Wed 13 Oct 16:16 ______________________________________________________________________ Its actually the outdoor sensor, open or shorted, I would first start by checking the connectors for any corrosion and check the resistance of it, if all looks ok , order a new one from York all you need is the model number of the unit for replacement parts. Xenos. The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.
